Random Photos of Zoe.....I Know I Am Obsessed

I just love my baby girl. She is beautiful and perfect. I will always be forever grateful to her birth mother for placing her with us. She brings so much joy and excitement into our lives. Everyday is a new adventure. I am now realizing that I am a mother (mostly because she has pooped and peed on me twice).

I love how curly her hair is getting, but it still goes straight. I am not quite sure what to do with it yet. I guess time will tell.

This is a picture of Zoe's crib. I pieced the quilt and Levi's grandmother hand quilted it. The crocheted blanket is from one of my grandma's.

This is what happens when your cat is in the same room as you while you are taking pictures. Allie is such a crazy cat. I love her spunk. She keeps me laughing daily.

Some of the many faces of Zoe.

This is when you know she is really mad.

Photo Shoot of Zoe

Kim (my sister) and I attempted our own photo shoot with Zoe. What do you think? She was not coorperating very well. We will try again another day.

My cute nephew, Croy wanted to join in on the fun.

Zoe's First Week at Home

We have been able to introduce Zoe to several family members and friends. Everyone has been so excited to meet her. I need to take more pictures of everyone with Zoe.

Zoe is testing out her very own doll stroller. I think it is a good fit.

Zoe sleeps like this often. I think it is so cute when she stretches out like this. She looks so at peace and very comfortable.
The following are videos of Zoe, so our family who lives far away can get to know her. Enjoy!

Zoe is just relaxing and hanging out with daddy.

Zoe eating dinner. She is a good eater.

Zoe crying. She has a cute cry that can make you feel super guilty.

A Close Up on Zoe

I had to take close up pictures of Zoe's cute and tiny features.

She has curls. It also straightens just by combing it. I am going to need to get gel to keep it curly all day.

I just love her little nose. I am constantly kissing it.

I love her little feet and toes. Newborn shoes are still too big. I am sure she will grow into them soon.

I love her tiny strong hands. She has a good grip.

Zoe takes after her mommy

Zoe already loves to shop.

Her facial expressions make me laugh. I wish I could catch them all on camera.

Look how big her binki is compared to her head.

Plus, she loves shoes. I think.

Zoe Day 3, 4 & 5

Day 3:
We went to the hospital to visit Zoe's birth mom. She is looking a lot better. We were able to learn more about Zoe's birth family and we took pictures of all four of us together for Zoe's baby book.

Daddy daughter time. Levi just loves Zoe. He stares at her and tells her she is beautiful. Sorry the picture is so blurry.
Day 4: Relinquishment Day

Zoe getting ready for the day.

Zoe is all ready.
After Zoe's birth mom relinquished her rights we visited more. Then we took Zoe's birth mom home. We were in no way prepared for the emotions that came with that. Zoe's birth mom was such a trooper. We will be forever grateful for her sacrifice. After we dropped her off, Levi and I sat in the car crying for over an hour.
Day 5: Attorney
We had to go back to the hospital to get medical records we were never given. The attorney needed the paperwork in order to complete and send our ICPC to Utah. Hopefully we hear tomorrow that we can go home. If not, we should be able to go home on Thursday.
Zoe seems so tiny in the hotel crib (pack-n-play). She is extremely exhausted after staying up until 3:00 am. Hopefully we have a more restful sleep tonight.

Zoe Day 2

Day 2 of Zoe's life.

Zoe's first teddy bear. It is almost as big as her. She is 19 in. and the bear is 10 in.
Zoe loves to suck on her hands. She tries to do it even when she has her biniki in.

Hanging out at the hotel. Just finished her bottle

At IHOP. Her very first outing into public. I received multiple comments on how good I look for having her yesterday.

Zoe's hearing screening. She passed with flying colors. Way to go Zoe. Our A student already. No pressure.

Close up on Zoe. She is so cute. How could you not want to hug and kiss her all day long.

Zoe's new outfit. She threw up on it several times before I could even take a picture. I also had a cute sweater on, but it got the most of the throw up.
