Finding Strength In Numbers

On January 18, 2009 Robert Rasmussen (Levi's Grandpa) died. The funeral was held on January 21, 2009.
On January 21, Levi and I drove up to Montpelier, Idaho for the funeral. It was a beautiful service, that was surrounded by loving and supportive friends and family. I wish I had the opportunity to get to know Grandpa Rass. more. He was very sweet and caring. He was always happy to see us and wanted to know everything new in our lives.
After the funeral service we went back to the church for lunch. It was lot of fun visiting with Levi's family and talking about grandpa Rass. It was nice to hear the family talk about Lesa (Levi's mom). I never met her, so it was nice to learn a little more about her.

Terri and Ryan (Levi's sister and brother-in-law)

Jason and Molly (Levi's brother and sister-in-law)

Keva and Jesse (Levi's niece and brother)
That night after the funeral, we went to Jason and Molly's house and played board games. It was so much fun. Levi and his brothers are hilarious when they get together.

The day after the funeral we spend most of the day with the goose (Levi's grandma Rasmussen). She is so full of life. I love visiting with her. She always makes me laugh.

After we visited with grandma Goose we drove down to the cemetery to see grandpa Rass. and Levi's mom's graves. We miss you Grandpa.

Kid's Say The Darndest Things

On Sunday Levi and I were teaching our sunbeam class that we have bodies just like Heavenly Father.

While talking about having a body like Heavenly Father and Jesus I asked if anyone knew who else was in the picture shown above. One little boy raised his hand very excitedly and said, "Oh oh oh, I know, I know, it's Jesus Smothe." After he said that, he realized he had said the wrong name and sat there with a puzzled look on his face as he kept trying to figure out Joseph Smith's name. It was so funny. I am still laughing about it.

Christmas 2008

Highlights from Christmas 2008
Levi and I spent Christmas with my family this year. We ate dinner and played games. We had a lot of fun and it was great seeing my family. My nieces and nephews are so much fun. I loved hearing about their Christmas gifts and all the things that are going on in their lives.

Isn't Audriana the cutest? Just look at those Precious Moment eyes.

Brooklyn has such a fun personality. I enjoy talking and laughing with her.

My sisters and me.

There are more pictures to come, I just need to get them from my sister.
