Zoe's Toy Story Birthday Party

I know I've been terrible at updating my blog, but luckily I've already started planning Zoe's 3rd birthday party so it got me thinking about her 2nd birthday and how I have not posted pictures yet. So here you go...

Zoe's Turning Two Toy Story Birthday Party

The decor (we were actually moving, but I told everyone I packed boxes just to make it look like it was the from the Toy Story 1). The clouds were made out of floam I found at The Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. Then I added Zoe's Toy Story toys. I placed army guys throughout the room (also found at The Dollar Tree Stores, Inc.).

The table settings. Plates and napkins purchased from Zurchers.

The CAKE pops
I got Ham the Potato Head idea from here.

We also had pizza from "Pizza Planet" AKA Little Caesars.

Toy Story tattoos I got from Zurchers.

Every kid painted their own Woody or Buzz picture. I got them in packages of two at The Dollar Tree Stores, Inc.

For the thank you gifts Zoe handed these to her friends with a balloon.
Toy Story PEZ candies ordered from Amazon.com, baskets set of 3 for $1 at Target, Toy Story crayon boxes at The Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. 3 for a $1. Stickers and parachute army guys at Target. There were other candies mixed in there from Zurchers.

Here are the guests.

Our Winter So Far...

We have been busy at our house. I introduced Zoe to different types of art materials and she is loving it. She wants to make art projects everyday.

Zoe loves spending time with her daddy. They snuggle and watch movies together.
Zoe and Daddy sleeping/watching a movie.
Zoe loves taking care of her baby. In fact she has named her baby, Baby. She likes to give her baths, change her clothes and diapers, feed her, and do her hair.

Zoe's been very fascinated by the snow this year. I have never let her explore more than just touching it while we walk by, so we decided to go outside and investigate the snow.

We made snowballs and threw them. She also tasted the snow several times.

Zoe had so much fun. She refused to go inside even though she was wet and cold.

Finally, for those who have not heard, we bought a new house and will be moving in the beginning of April. We are so excited. The house is very spacious and has a cute backyard that Zoe will be able to play in. We will be right next to the lake, school, pool and parks. We have an amazing view from our front porch. Feel free to come visit us anytime.

 Preparing for Christmas
The day after Thanksgiving we played Christmas music while we decorated and danced around the house.

Levi helping Zoe decorate the tree.

Zoe was having so much fun pulling out decorations and adding them to the tree.

Zoe is a great helper. She did not stop until we were finished decorating.

Enjoying a snack after all her hard work.

As the Christmas season has come upon us I have been thinking about the many blessings I have in my life. I daily think of Zoe's birthmom and the sacrifice she made for us to have our little one who brings so much joy to our lives. This Christmas has been so much fun. Zoe shows so much excitement about the tree, lights and presents. We will be lucky if we make it to Christmas with at least one present in its original Christmas wrapping paper.
I have also been blessed with an amazing husband who makes me laugh everyday. He has brought so much happiness into my life. He takes such good care of Zoe and me. My life would not be the same or fulfilled without him.

I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas.

Halloween Happenings

We took Zoe to the pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins for our front porch.
Zoe enjoyed riding in the wheelbarrow and looking at all the pumpkins.
Zoe sat on the trackers.

Here is a sneak peak at Zoe's Halloween costume. She is a garden gnome.

Several of our friends and neighbors put together a carnival for the kids.

Zoe trying to eat a donut off a string. Look at her tongue.

She kept trying for a very long time.

Almost there.

Kristi and Journee

Valerie and her cute family came. I just love their costumes.

Hendrix and Zoe decorated and ate cookies together.  See Zoe below.

This is a cute video of Zoe trying to eat the donut then she gives up and just grabs it. I think it is pretty cute.
